The Alabama Arabian Horse Association, Inc. (AAHA) was established over fifty years ago. The organization consists of a mix of equine interests with members in Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. The AAHA is closely linked to the largest region in the US, which consists of 7 states in the southeast and is part of a much larger organization that spans the entire US and Canada. Our goal is to promote the Arabian horse, the breeding of the Arabian horse, encourage the recreational activities of the Arabian horse and to educate people about the Arabian horse.

The Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Show will open its doors on the 15th of January 2008 for four consecutive days in the headquarters of His Highness's farms in Tebrak city, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Festival will encompass a various number of activities that aim to restore equestrian disciplines and the importance and significance of the Arabian Horse as part of the nation's history. |

The Arabian Breeders World Cup first show is scheduled for April 19-22, 2007. The goal of this event is to become one of the premier purebred Arabian horse shows in the world. With Las Vegas as the backdrop, the event will truly be an “International horse show” that will unite breeders worldwide. It will be a showcase for the natural beauty, nobility, excitement and unique characteristics of the Arabian horse breed and will provide a lively and entertaining experience for existing breeders and those new to Arabian horses.

The Arabian English Pleasure Futurity will be held during the 2007 Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show. With a payout of $100,000, this is a landmark development in the history of our breed. Never has a class paid this much prize money. In addition to the prize money, we will introduce an entirely new way to show and to to judge our English horses. This Futurity is truly breaking new ground. As you read on, think positively. It is time in our breed to open our eyes to the possibilities, not the distractions. AHA Region 12 is proud of its history and of the part it plays in the larger Arabian industry. It encompasses the largest geographic region in AHA, ranging down the eastern coast from North Carolina to Florida and from Tennessee to Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. Region XII also hosts several of the premier Arabian showcases in the nation, including an early May Regional.

The Spotlite Foundation is a Non Profit Organization that serves children who are victims of trauma, tragedy, or illness. To these children we provide, free of charge, Horse Therapy, Summer Horse Camp, and Riding Lessons in a nurturing environment focused on building self esteem, independence, self love, and confidence. T.S.F. is also a horse rescue that rehabilitates horses who have been abused, starved, neglected, injured or are permanently unridable for whatever reason. The horses in this program, along with a staff of gifted professionals, are used to facilitate healing and build inner strength. |

TABA manages Arabian racing in the state,

The Western Carolina Arabian Horse Association currently offers 2 levels of memberships. The Adult or Junior Memberships include an affiliate membership with the Arabian Horse Association. The adult membership is a voting membership and the number of voting delegates the club receives at the Regional and National level is based on the number of adult members. |
