Arabian horse enthusiasts across the globe witnessed history unfold as the Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) Americas launched its highly anticipated five-stage circuit, bringing world-class competition, breathtaking elegance, and unprecedented prize money to the Western Hemisphere. The first of these monumental events took place February 18 & 20, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona, setting a new standard for Arabian horse shows in the Americas.

A Grand Debut in Scottsdale

Held alongside the 70th edition of the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, the GCAT Americas debut was nothing short of spectacular. The Big City Tent at WestWorld of Scottsdale came alive with electrifying performances that celebrated Western and Latin culture, featuring Native American hoop dancers, a Mariachi band, and traditional Folklorico dancers, all set against a stunning laser light show.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as some of the finest Arabian horses from across the Americas and beyond competed for $270,000 in prize money and valuable points toward the GCAT Overall Rankings. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Champions from each category also secured their coveted spots at the 2025 World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme in Doha, Qatar, where they will compete for a €4,000,000 prize pool in December.

GCAT Deputy CEO Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser Al Thani praised the event, saying, “We’ve been impressed by the caliber of horses showcased at this first stage of the Americas series. The feedback from participants and spectators has been incredibly encouraging. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Americas team for their dedication and hard work, which have made this inaugural stop on the Americas circuit a resounding success.”
