Day 1: A Spectacular Start to the GCAT Riyadh Finale

Introduction
The Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) has revolutionized Arabian horse competitions, becoming a global phenomenon with an unprecedented €17 million prize pool. Spanning seven cities, from Doha to Rome and culminating in Riyadh, this Tour showcased the pinnacle of Arabian beauty, grace, and sportsmanship. The Riyadh finale, held at the iconic KAFD X Arena from November 13–16, 2024, welcomed over 230 elite horses for a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Day 1 opened with electric energy as the arena filled with spectators. Highlights included:

• Sultana Al Thamer, owned by Al Thamer Stud, captured the Yearling Fillies 1A class.
• Shahalel Al Shaqab, from Al Shaqab Stud, achieved an impressive 93.50 points in the 2-year-old Fillies Section B, earning perfect scores for Type and Head & Neck.
• D Borkan, a star from Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, claimed victory in the Yearling Colts 4B class.
