Happy Labor Day
The United States has celebrated Labor Day since the late 1800's. It occurs annually on the first Monday of September. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, it is "a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country."
A few quotes to honor the day...

"Nothing will work unless you do." – Maya Angelou
"If you really believe in what you're doing, work hard, take nothing personally, and if something blocks your route, find another. Never give up." — Laurie Notaro
"All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence." –Martin Luther King
"My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition." — Indira Gandhi
