The GCAT will make its debut in Valkenswaard as the fifth location of the Tour after successful editions in Doha, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Cannes. With its extensive equestrian facilities, Valkenswaard is the ultimate setting to present and celebrate the beautiful Arabian horses. The horses will be judged by a panel of 20 renowned judges from around the world on five criteria – type, head and neck, body and top line, legs and movement – each worth 20 points, allowing a maximum score of 100 points.

Competitors from all over the world will converge in Valkenswaard, competing for the largest prize money in the history of Arabian horse shows. Each leg of the Tour has seen remarkable performances and Valkenswaard promises to be no exception. The prize money for Valkenswaard alone is over €1,000,000, with bonus prize money at the end of the season for the leading female, leading male, leading handler and overall leading horse.

The Tour’s rankings remain unchanged after Cannes, with Ajman Stud’s AJ Kayya still topping the female leaderboard with 80 points after unbeatable performances during the first four stages of the Tour. D Borkan maintains his place at the top of the male rankings with 71 points and Paolo Capecci leads the handers on 219 points.

In addition to the Arabian horse show, the GCAT in Valkenswaard will offer an abundance of entertainment and luxury. The event will feature a vibrant entertainment program, including cultural performances, an impressive closing ceremony and special exhibitions celebrating the rich history and art of Arabian horses.

To enhance the experience, the event will play host to an exclusive shopping village featuring an array of local and international brands. Visitors can enjoy luxury shopping, discover unique artisan products and enjoy gourmet food and drinks. This village provides an ideal opportunity for guests to take a piece of the GCAT experience home with them, whether it be fashion, accessories or culinary delights. The show starts at 12:40 pm on July 20th with the opening ceremony, followed by the qualifying classes for the yearlings, juniors and senior females. On July 21st events kick-off at 1:45 pm with the honouring of the sponsors, stallion qualifiers and the all-important championships.  Entry to the show is free for spectators, with limited hospitality packages available on request. Follow @arabianstour on Instagram or visit www.gcarabianstour.com to stay up to date with the latest news. - Ends -
