Dawn Garland, Barry and Kim Irving Hausen, Tommy and Katie Garland, and Janene Boggs. Barry and Kim purchased the superstar young western pleasure junior horse, Aria Opus One, from Janene and Bob Boggs earlier this year. Tommy trained the hose and won unanimous first place in the Western Pleasure Futurity semi-final. Congratulations and good luck in the finals!
All decked out! Rohara Arabians brought 28 horses to the show and will be competing in nearly every division of he show. They are just as versatile as their Arabian and half-Arabian horses!
Arabians International - I found this crew at Arabians International gearing up for the big halter classes beginning on Tuesday. There are several top contenders sired by El Nabila B being presented at the show including Sirah MSU, presented by Sandro Pinha, and Aria Rohara Spartan with Rohara Arabians. Sandro is also showing the international sensation El Chall, owned by Dixie and Robert North. Good luck to everyone!

Melissa of Show Season - If you want to be on the "Best Dressed" list for show attire, you have to see Melissa Holmes at Show Season. The workmanship that goes into each hand-made piece is amazing. The fabrics make you feel like a kid in a candy store - they are so fantastic! Melissa showed me one their new innovations; it is a satin wool for an English suit - it's absolutely beautiful and the epitome of elegance and refinement.

Sherry Akers - Arabian artist extraordinaire, Sherry Akers is at work in her booth creating yet another masterpiece. Sherry's work is not only absolutely beautiful, it is unbelievably affordable!
Peacemaker Farm - All was quiet at the Peacemaker Farm stalls - it was the quiet before the storm when the halter classes start on Tuesday.
Nymeyers - Pretty much everything you need at the show can be found at Nymeyers. From tack to Show Sheen, gloves to boots - Helen Nymeyer has been fitting out Arabian horsemen for over 25 years!

House of Horses - Some of the most beautiful equine art at the show can be found at House of Horses. This was my favorite piece - it is a steel engraving from the late 1800's - it is exquisite!
Freedman's - Freedman's offers beautiful tack with the look of refinement and elegance. Oh, and ladies - you may want to stop by and look at their selection of leather handbags - they are gorgeous!
Dusk - During the afternoon break, I wandered through the stall areas to see all the setups. The late afternoon sun was setting on another beautiful day in Tulsa.
Cowgirl Upscale - Another great shop in the exhibits this year is Cowgirl Upscale. Don't let the name fool you. There are some great pieces of jewelry that have a western influence, but much of the merchandise is transitional and can be dressed up or down for a casual elegance with a bit of an edge. Check it out!

Costumes - Native Costume classes bring out the most creative and work intensive attire and accessories of any competition. The costumes in this shop were really beautiful and very tastefully executed.
